Hi Nadya,
Thank you so much for letting us know about this issue and providing the console log. I will take a look at this issue and see if I can determine what is happening.
In the meantime, you can downgrade your version of IGB by downloading the previous version (9.0.2) and installing it over the current version (9.1.0). Please let me know if you do download and install the previous version of IGB, as I am curious if it fixes the mapped network drive issue.
Best,
Nowlan
IGB Team

Hi Nowlan,
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!
Following your advice, I have downgraded to the 9.0.2 version and now can load files from the network drives perfectly fine. This makes sense as I never had problems with this in the past.
Best wishes,
Nadya

Hi Nadya,
I'm testing this issue now, and I was wondering if the files on the mapped network drive are organized in an IGB Quickload?

Hi Nowlan,
They should not be as I have never really used/made IGB Quickloads. The files I am trying to load are just individual big wig files. I don't know if this helps.
Best,
Nadya

That helps immensely!
So the workflow would be:
1) Select genome of interest in IGB
2) Click File > Open File... and then select the BigWig file located on the mapped network drive.
3) When you click to open the file IGB issues a warning, 'Provider "W" not found'.
Thank you so much for responding so quickly regarding this issue - it can be incredibly difficult for us to identify these kinds of problems and I am very grateful for your time.

Hi Nadya,
We believe we have identified the issue, but we need your help. Would you be willing to download a test version of IGB to see if it fixes the issue?
Go to: https://bitbucket.org/nfreese/nowlanfork-igb/downloads/
Click on IGBF-1471-9.1.0.exe to download the Windows IGB test version.
Install the test version of IGB over the version of IGB you are currently using (9.0.2).
Run the test version of IGB and try to load a bigwig file from the network drive.
Hopefully this works, but if not then it helps us narrow down the issue!
Thank you,
Nowlan

Hi Nowlan,
I tested the updated 9.1.0 version by opening bigwig files from several different network drives and everything worked perfectly fine. It seems that your update successfully fixed the issue, this is great! Thank you so much for such a quick response and being so helpful.
Best wishes,
Nadya
