Nowlan Freese, according to the following link, it is possible to enable this feature on IGB by default.

It goes into detail about topics of which I am inexperienced in, so I cannot make a full judgement regarding how difficult it is to add this feature to IGB, but it is definitely possible to do so.

Image 1.png shows an option "Edit with Notepad++". Is this a plain text file that can be edited? If yes, I would like to see the contents following data anonymization (no computer- or user-specific details visible.)

[~aloraine], the file is editable and most of the text inside it is gibberish: https://i.imgur.com/vSIfMyb.png
I found 2 sections with plain English text:

After speaking with Nowlan Freese, I tested this possible issue on both v9.1.4 from BioViz and v9.1.6 (master.exe) and this is what I found:

            • After enabling the "High DPI scaling override" option on both v9.1.4 and v9.1.6, no oversize font issues were present.
            • I also tested this after exporting a bookmark (as per instructions of the ticket description) to see if that causes the issue, but that didn't cause any font issues.
            • Additionally, I separately checked to see if the the Windows Scale and Layout options that is used to scale up font and apps for high DPI displays was causing this issue, which has options to scale apps between (100% - 350%). However, this setting also did not cause any font issues upon launching both versions of IGB.
The monitor I used to test this is a 27" 4K monitor.

I am closing this ticket as the text scaling problem is not reproducible or no longer an issue when overriding high DPI scaling on Windows.

I have created a new issue (IGBF-2503) to create a new page describing how to override the high DPI scaling settings on Windows.
